I like most other races much better, and would like to see Valdemar manage on their own, or just with the help of Karse. It seems like my campain to see more to Lissa is working, I've seen more wishes for her, than most other minor characters, eventhough I have to agree with whoever said that Savil's early life would be interesting too ( isn't there some short stories about her though? ). We probably all agree that all Velgarth countries seems to be in a pre-industrialised world, and most countries - with the sole exception of the Athen City State at some time, I think - had monarchs, despots, emperors, high priests, tyrants, or another type of leader, with near absolute power over the country. Before all the history bluffs say something, I know that England's regents had liments over their power, but that was the exception, not the rule. sheepflavored danish to all Absalon Champion of Lissa ( Oouh ) Member of OLW ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 2 May 1999 09:04:46 -0400 From: "Tanya Evans" To: Subject: Re: Werehunter Spoiler/ OOUH Message-ID: <000701be949c$5ae33000$23040618-+AT+-baycty1.mi.home.com> Shadowdreamer(?) said: > Later in the same section, Jadus tells Talia of how Alberich's Companion > saved him from the fire, and used the name Kantor then, too. .com/~wiegand (Wiegand family homepage) Spoilerish, You've been warned. => In WereHunter the name Taver is used for a Comapanion, thought it is not specified who's Companion Taver is Pg 184 In mindspeech on of the Heralds says "Taver says his name is Alberich." IMHO, the Companion that brought Alberich to Valdemar is the only one that would know his name, so In my thinking Taver is implied to be Alberich's Companion. Like I said earlier, I interpreted that as being the Companion of the Herald who was speaking. Like, let's say the Herald who was speaking was named Joe. Joe's Companion, Taver, asked Alberich's Companion for Alberich's name, and relayed the name to Joe. Joe then tells the other Heralds, "Hey, my Companion says his name is Alberich." That's they way I always thought of it, anyway... Although I myself wonder if Kantor told Alberich his name after Alberich knew what he was, or if Alberich decided he needed a new name, not just "Silver" once his status as a Companion was revealed...
