Are those Teletubbie creatures using some sort of "scrying" technique on their stomachs or do you have to use a liquid in a bowl in order to "scry"? Oh yeah. Hey Songrunner! Am I going to have to use one of my "resurrect" spells on you soon or what? As a matter of fact, there's a spinoff mailing list called Queen's Circle that was set up by a bunch of folks from the Misty-List specifically for folks who are making personae for Queen's Own. You can join it at www.egroups.com; I'm sort of the demi-list-moderator, since it got given to me a while back. Right now it's largely inactive, but I'm trying to resurrect it, and you're welcome to join. So is anybody else working on Queen's Own stuff, by the by. I just bought the book "Bedlam's Bard" today, and I like it. Are there any more that she's written to go with it? There weren't at the bookstore, but the store I was at does not carry any but the newest science fiction and fantasy... I am sooo jealous of the people who are going to Dragon Con. I *love* Anne McCaffery - her books were the first fantasy books I read, way back when I was going crazy because of the pressures of fifth grade. =) Even if I could get myself to Atlanta (ha, ha, ha,), I have a show that weekend. :Gestures to the cloud of mist above her head with the legend "Caution - Theatre Person" clearly readable: While you are off in Atlanta with Anne McCaffery, I will be throwing apples at Dorothy and the Scarecrow...! Oh, anyway. How do you join Queen's Own?? I would like to. I remember reading something in the back of one of the books - does anyone have the address of who I could contact? Hi Brynn! :Waves happily: I think her take on ancient mythology would be nifty. My favourite stories growing up were the Greek myths, especially Persephone. My parents were divorced when I was very small, and I could sympathise with her constant journey from heaven to hell quite nicely. Wow, this has been very fluffy, hasn't it? Well, here are some fluffy Elvis-impersonator sheep for everyone, as an apology! &:) wind to thy wings, Lady Ember Echosinger, the choreographically challenged Singer of Fire (yay!) {Jedi Knight in training} ----------------------------------------------- FREE! Herald Sorana Stargem and her Companion Elyse at your service. :) Actually, I'm not a Herald yet. I'm still working on my persona. That's why I put Herald-trainee in my sig. instead of Herald. I'm also on the "Queen's-circle" list that was just mentioned. In fact, as soon as I stick my sig. on this, I'll send them a post. Umm....ObMisty...thinking....Uhhhh....~bangs head against wall in hopes of jarring loose something useful~...Fudge! No, wrong topic. ~bangs head against wall again~ Oh, I know! Why is it that in the whole Valdemar series, only one Herald had a cold? And why is it that in the entire series, only two _people_ have gotten a cold? And why is it that they can't just have a cold? Dirk's cold turned into Pneumonia and Tarma's disappeared after they (Tarma and Kethry) got rid of that bad luck coin. Stars light your path, Sorana S.
