When he first reaches k'Valdemar Vale he is described as having hair that if unbound would reach to his waist. Just a few chapters later he is described as having hair as long as Silverfox who had ankle length hair. I know that its a bit of a nit pick but I just thought that it was interesting that this mistake occured within just a few pages.
