Yeah that's true.  having lived in the states for a year and being pounded
(by my dearest she'enedra brynn) into misty.  i am sorrowful that i won't be
able to get the next books for ages.  I think that you can get them on
amazon.co.uk though.

And on the Pterry note, i found Jingo (the third latest book [i think] i may
be wrong but it's fairly recent) out in a bookshop here in paper back.  i
was very impressed seing as though most bookshops in the San Fransisco area
don't have more than 3 Pterry books at a time.

Having recently re-read "Sword of Ice,"  I came across
a *possibility* that Companions can come back as
Companions.  I may be wrong and this is more a
question than a statement in any case.

In "A Herald's Honor," there are two Companions.  One
is named Brayth.  I seem to remember a Companion in
another book called Braytha.  Does anyone remember
where?  If the times are right, this could be evidence
of Companions coming back as Companions.  Or, it could
be that the author of the short story was not Misty...

Ideas?

Okay, i don't even know if I'm spelling the title of this book right with 
"Lamma's Night", BUT!  i am rather concerned that the last story just 
abruptly ends in the middle of a sentence!  Is it just MY copy, or are all of 
them like that?  Just thought I'd inquire, I thought it strange the last 
story was left unfinished, to say the least!

Heyla everyone!

It's nice to have a break from real life *and* an email system that is not
currently being "updated for your convienence". Aaagh!

First, apologies :blushes: I seem to have deleted all of my old mail. But
here :hands a tyedyed sheep to the person who suggested my quote was from
the Wizard of Oz: The quote was in fact from there. And :hands a tyedyed
lamb to the person who thought it was a Wade the Duck quote from Garfield &
Friends: I love Garfield & Friends! It was my favourite show when I was a
little girl! And it is a very Wade the Duck-ish line, especially with sheep
like Lanolin around =]

About reincarnation :
I got the impression that Heralds and Companions and other "good" people got
to chose to be reincarnated into whatever they pleased -person or Companion
- or either to rest in peace.

About Lammas Night :
I loved that book! I'm not sure where my copy is, so I can't double check
the last story's ending. But I seem to remember that the author was writing
in the style of some famous author, and that's why it was awkward? I
remember one of the stories being way too deep for me, and I think it was
the same story...!

Just a thought, but some of this might just be human error. I noticed some of 
the "minor" characters in one book mentioned as a different person in another 
book, and the person in question is not a significant really. Just a 
thought...

I'd have to agree with that.  With such a prolific writer as mrs. lackey,
you'd have to expect that late night writer's block will be defeated with a
similar sounding name...  human beings can only get so originally creative
before they begin repeating themselves in variation.

Yeah, I noticed that various charactors across genres (Tia, Talia, etc.)
of hers have similar/same names... esp if it's not modern-day fantasy; ie.
she needs neat futuristic/fantasy-sounding names... ::shrug:: just a
random nueron firing... :)
