Guilty as charged... although now that I've read it, it makes a lot more sense to me than it did before, as do other things. Thank you for the link, apparently I'd missed it in my welcome letter. The law against child pornography in British Columbia has been challenged as unconstitutional as it goes against the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The BC Supreme court has ruled the law unconstitutional and therefore invalid. It is now under appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada. This may seem quite serious, but as a law student, I think I can assure you that the challenge will NOT succeed. The Charter can be disregarded when making laws that are crucial to the security of vulnerable groups or the morality of the people. (For example, it is illegal to deprive some one of their liberty, but we have not problem imprisoning convicted criminals because the security of the public is at stake.) Therefore, when this challenge gets to the Supreme Court, I'm confident that the decision will be reversed and child porn will remain illegal. Please note, it is still illegal to possess Child pornography in the rest of Canada. I had thought that he had been building his power base for a huge amount of time. Remember, Ma'ar was able to extend the lifetime of most of his hosts' bodies. This would give hime time to build up his power base and army, and then through them, have a network of spies and so forth that would be able to do the dirty work for him. --- Jen wrote: >What is with all the sheep and sheep shaped objects? If you ever notice with Misty's Velgarth books (at least. I'm not sure about the other ones), they tend to have at least one reference to sheep somewhere in them. Well, it started out with people trading sheep, then trading flaming sheep, then many sheep, then cookies of sheep to eat, and then.... :) >And where does every one get these fabulously long >names? Made up :). The names, at least, are. As for the titlees, some of them have to do with the groups that people are in, while others are made up by the person themself. You mostly should ask about them as you can. For example, "Councilor of Mist" denotes that the person is someone to seek help with the Misty List on. Some of us don't post that often, but we are out there :).
