If so, and if no one can answer your question outright you can try Ask Misty at http://firebird-+AT+-firebirdarts.com/index1.htm#askmisty just e-mail firebird-+AT+-firebirdarts.com and hopefully Misty will answer. Sorry, no OB Misty, I just can't think of any. I always looked at the LHM series as a psychological study more than a story about a sad guy who did great things. We can all relate to Vanyel. Every single one of us. Because there is no one in this world who is without their problems. Some may seem worse than others but some are hidden. No one knew the trauma Vanyel suffered for so long. They all had their own perspectives, some saw his struggle with being shaych, and others who missed that may be more aware of his family situation. The bottom line is that you never know anything for certain. We all feel alone when something brings us down because it feels like everyone else is so happy. Just look at how many people depended on Vanyel, who were blind to his own misery. We can all relate to Van because we know everything about him. And we feel closer because there are so few people in this world that we DO know so well. We are all human and as much as our personalities may differ, we do all suffer for the same reasons. And every one of us who has been willing and open with another human being, even though the two may be suffering in completely different ways, will realize that we are all not so different when it boils down. The same as rich people are often as troubled as poor people, everyone can find something about Vanyel that we can feel is a part of us. -El ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 04 Sep 1999 15:50:21 PDT From: "David Bell" To: mercedes-lackey-+AT+-herald.co.uk Subject: Timelines Message-ID: <19990904225021.26610.qmail-+AT+-hotmail.com> Finally, after months of searching I have Found some more ML books. I don't know why but around here (Wigan, UK.)they seem hard to find, 30,000 copies of Gryphon books and no others. A couple of questions tho. The timeline inside the covers is very useful, but is there any order people recomend reading them in, as in one series being too much of a spoiler for another. And, just picked up 2 SERRAted edge books, Anyone tell me what their order is or is it irrelevant? The two I own (Born To Run and Wheels of fire) share two character for the last 3 pages and stand alone fine. Finally It's good to be on a mailing list that is active, last one I joined posted about 2 letters a month. " If something ain't broke don't fix it - but if you don't experiment we'll never advance."
