Message-ID: <199909101332.OAA00845-+AT+-vanyel.herald.co.uk> Hi folks, I just swung by my library's sale of books and found that they had copies of both Magic's Pawn and Magic's Promise (irritatingly, not Magic's Price) for sale. Anyone who wants these can have them; they're UK editions, condition not _too_ bad, nice plastic library jackets on them. I don't especially want to get into currency conversions -- first person to email me can have them if they send me something cool (I leave this to your imagination!) in return. Doesn't have to be expensive, they only cost me 60p (about $1) for the two. Mail me offlist... Elspeth because she reminds me of a slightly more vocally abrasive me, and Kero because I tend to wish I were a little more like her. Tough, self-assured (most of the time), noble (in a mercenary sort of way), and with this wonderful sardonic wit... No, I don't think Elspeth is bratty. In her place I'd have done pretty much what she did, only with a little less griping. I'm more passive-agressive. <> Ahhhh, Ladyhawke. "I told the truth, Lord! Though methinks the worthy wielder of the Darkblade is being overmodest; IMHO she's more like Kero than she admits :) Trollhugs to all(and Abby, if the OAM come after you there's a big troll here you can hide behind ;) ) Muranog Shadowbane Troll Battle Adept Knight of Fluff OIB Member of the Mistic Circle And his bondmate Sable, the giant black war sheep(also OIB) ------------------------------ End of MERCEDES-LACKEY Digest 2076 **********************************
