The one she got from Kris? My books are back on the West Coast, and I'm in the Mid-West... anyway, what are the two meanings of the ring again? And what is it call in this reality? Thanks!" >> The ring was a token a Herald only gave to the friends he loved best. I have an Irish Claddagh (Ka-la-da) ring, which, from the description, sounds like it. The Claddagh is the symbol of Friendship, Loyalty, and Love, it has two hands clasping a heart with a crown on top of it. According to Irish customs, if you wear it with the heart facing out, it means your heart is free, with the heart facing in, your heart is taken. But since Talia's is two hands clasped without a heart or crown, I guess that doesn't really bear any importance anyway does it? Hope I helped!
