I've been resurrected here! I'm in the process of reading Owlknight. I love it! I was just wondering if anyone or anything could explain to me what the difference is between a "Veil" and a "Vale". Are they different or one in the same? Thanks. Oh yeah. This email will self destruct in 12 candlemarks. Just kidding. Message-ID: <19990920235107.27457.rocketmail-+AT+-web1306.mail.yahoo.com> Hello all! I FINALLY got the PB copy of the second Owl book (Owlsight?) and I must say that I loved it! I read the entire thing in one sitting- I just couldn't put it down. Now the only thing I have to do is wait for Owlknight to come out in PB... Grr... I'm dying to know what happens. I've nooticed that most of the second books in the trillogies are the worst of the three, but this doesn't seem to be the case with the Owl books. I remember someone awhile ago saying they didn't like the second book. So whats the general consensus? Does everyone like or hate the second Owl book? Simply put? Wow. But enough of that, don't want to spoil anything. Re: That Thief O'Names comments on the 2nd book , I found that of the first two books of the series, I liked the second better. In fact, I have an incredible urge to go reread it. I liked having both characters' view points, and the interaction. Re: Serrated Edge series - Does anyone know when/if the next book will be coming out? I'm looking forward to it alot. How about the Bard books? I have a friend I would like to introduce to Misty's urban fantasy, but he has problems with the subject of many of Misty's books re: the abuse of children. Does anyone have a good suggestion on which I should introduce him to? I've already given him Sacred Ground, just not sure what else. Chocolate-mint sheep with espresso grass for all!
