At last, at last! Have managed to unsub/resub to fix
my email addressing problems, and am looking forward
to some fun and games here on the MistyList...

How's everybody doing? Did you have a lot of trouble from
the latest denizens from the tropics?

Have managed to get my ungrubby paws on 'Owlknight',
and am enjoying it very much. (It was my main escape from
Floyd the Noid.) Now all I have to do is wait for the Black
Swan to get off the library reserve list... =)

Have you heard that they're actually filming hour-long
episodes of Pern? Wonder how long it'd take TPTB
to start working on tales from Velgarth (they wouldn't
have *near* as much CGI work, IMHO)?

hiya all! i relize 've been..well, lurking, for most of the time i'm on the 
list. But i'm a quiet person, so forgive me. :D i just wrote to say

sometimes that seems to be true...but i thought winds of fate was pretty 
good. then again, that was the first misty book i got, so i COULD be leaning 
towards it. :D

Pern?! you know i started my sci fi/fantasy reading explorations with 
Pern... brings back good memories and would be VERY cool too see it on the 
screen IMHO!!!!

Yay! My dreams have been answered (as to the Skif book). And I wonder what 
the nest Owl book will be about...it will be different to see Misty write in 
a quartet instead of a trilogy, but I'm looking forward to it. 

While reading the Misty FAQ, I came across an interesting web site:

It's an attempt to translate the Tayledras language and "fill-in" words to 
make it able to be spoken. 

While rereading SW, I came across this: (spoken by An'desha)
"There was something about this Karal-a color, or a sense of Light about 
him-that was a great deal like the feeling he had when the AVatars were near, 
though it was much weaker...And this feeling Karal called up in him was also 
identical to the kind of feeling he had when he was around a Companion...."

Now, I know this feeling is probably just a "god-touched" light or sense, 
but...wouldn't it be *interesting* if he were to come back as a Companion? 
Hmm, I don't know if I'd *like* it, but it would certainly be an interesting 
concept, and maybe a first-timer. *g*

Sorry for such a short post, but I believe I've said my fill. My 
ke'leeka'alen is anxious for exercise, and Kyrh can be very impatient.....
