It doesn't have to be about something they've already done. For me, I'd love to something that has to do with birds -- I like LD's bird drawings. or maybe a book about companions (hmmm.. wouldn't it be neat to see a picture book by someone in Valdemar meant for the children of valdemar about companions) ... Though I didn't pick it up on the two occassions I have read Owlknight. Have to read more carefully I guess to catch little bits like that. I also think Owlknight is heading back into her better writing like with Heralds of Valdemar and The last herald mage series. They seem to have been great. As of late her newer books are still good but I liked her older writing better. Owlknight is possibly her best book in a while. My life has gotten so busy that I just haven't been able to make the time to give this list the attention it warrents. So, since my birthday is in a week, my gift to myself is finally admitting that I just can't handle it all. This is a letter of farewell. It's not that I stopped loving Misty's stories; I haven't. And I cherish my experiences with this list. I've had fun, and I got to meet and 'talk' with so many interesting people who love Misty's stuff as much as I do. It's been wonderful, so it is with reluctance I take my leave, but I know it's for the best, for now. Hopefully I'll find myself back here again someday. Zhai'helleva, ListSibs! Message-ID: <001801bf0ce7$56065ee0$14a570cf-+AT+-compaq> ...... I speak to thee... Has anyone seen Chrome Borne yet? I saw it at the bookstore, pounced, and was about half way in the line to buy it, when I realized it was a two-book thing of Tannim's other books. Talk about disappointment! Anyone know when the next one /is/ going to come out, of either Tannim or the SanFran Bard Co? Also, knightowl... Well, maybe not. I wonder if the tribal spirits are like the Companions though.
