Well, I work in a library, and the young adult section in ours hasn't got any Misty books (although there are some McCaffrey ones)... although I could see it happening. After all, that's where Tamora Pierce is too... Anyway, why not? Many of us got into her books when we were of the Young Adult reader age... and hey, I still read some of the Sweet Valley books, so be nice. =) >Can't find the Diana Tregard series in the libraries tho. >Hmm. That one might be a bit harder... I know mine has at least some of 'em, but they're hard to get ahold of even in bookstores--you gotta special order them, and soon enought they'll be out of print and impossible, like the Sword and Sorceress books. Any >librarians on the list can tell me why that might be? >*curious* As mentioned, I do work in a library...but I can't even answer that one. I can tell you that my library has a tendancy to put Fantasy in with the regular fiction, and even one of the folks who works in Cataloging doesn't get that one. =) But she promises to fix it if I send 'em to her. =) MorningStar (who hasn't been around much but felt like writing) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 23 Oct 1999 21:11:12 -0500 From: Amy Trujillo To: mercedes-lackey-+AT+-herald.co.uk Subject: Burning Brightly and misty in general Message-ID: <38126AC0.4F203CA1-+AT+-southwind.net> Heyla listsibs, I have to say that this is the slowest I have ever seen this list, everyone must be busy with school and or work. Just wanted to see if anyone else has noticed that the Levan Firestorm book is going to be the next Valdemar book Misty releases. Its officially on the forthcoming list in the front of Owlknight. I'm just wondering if anyone on the list has heard when and if the next Eric Beth Kory book should be released?
