Lucky you! I finally have enough time to post again!! Ummm...sorry forgot names of who sent in these questions, so here goes... My fave Misty genre would have to be her Urban Fantasy, but that's not beating her High Fantasy by very much! Maybe it's just because I love the idea of elves... The focus stones were a technique to focus one's thoughts and energy. So, maybe the characters in her books after LHM just never heard of the technique or never found it to be that useful. Why use a crutch if you don't have to? On why the vrondi didn't bother Keth in "Oathbreakers", I think it was because they were just inside the Valdemarian border. That part of the country may have shifted borders over the years and the vrondi couldn't or didn't recognize it. That's it for now! If you are >worried about sending your credit card over the net (very valid concern) - >order by phone. Actually, it's not sending your card over the net that is the problem; you need to be confident that the people at the other end are not doing something stupid with it, such as leaving it on a database which is itself on an insecure computer. All of the proven cases of people getting credit card info off the net, to date, have centred on hackers getting into computers with the information on it, rather than sniffing it off the net. As someone else up-thread said, so long as you are sending the details via a secure connection, you shouldn't worry about it any more than when you hand your card to someone else in a face-to- face transaction.
