I'm sorry to dissapoint you but, unfortunately, thw Owl Triligy really doesn't say much about the Empire at all.. maybe mentions it a few times during conversation but nothing giving you that much information. It's more a Tayledras book ^_^ Van ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 23 Nov 1999 21:53:33 +0800 From: "-=\\\\DrAkE/=- : KneeL beFore ThY MaStEr, feeBLe MoRtAL." To: Subject: Buggerit. Well...I've read most of Misty's books, and I have to say the best were during the time of Vanyel. The rest just pale somehow. Hmm...I'm on Owlsight now...it's not a bad series...though like Van said, it's mostly a Tayledras book. Oh, and I'm just really interested in the Diana Tregarde investigations...as far as I know...there are 3...Burning Water, Children of the Night and Jinx High. If there are anymore out or upcoming, would someone let me know? And I really, really wish misty would do an Skitty series. Read some of it in Werecat, my first misty book, and I was kinda disappointed that it was just a short story series. It really has potential for expansion. Like the idjit i am, i read the storm tri first. I remember, after reading where they first mentioned the weak new alliance vs. strong old empire i had wondered if she borrowed that from George Lucas. i am still wondering, star wars freak that i am (from a long line of trekkies no less) it was probably just coincidence but still… oh, about skipping the parts told by the "Bad guys"-- i do that two! I guess i'm just a good ol' gal at heart huh? couldn't ever get into the chapters on bad pplz, ended up skipping them! well, i've thrown in my 2¢ turkey and stuffing flavored sheep to all! Not sure which, but it was one of these that I first read one. ----- Original Message ----- From: -=\\DrAkE/=- : KneeL beFore ThY MaStEr, feeBLe MoRtAL.
