We're planning to run two games in succession -- a rerun of Veni, Vidi, Bassethwaite, which was a big hit at Gencon back in 2000, and also a brand new game set on enigmatic space station Bassethwaite 5. Haven't decided yet which order they'll be in. Quite a few people have said they're keen to play both games, despite having already played VVB when we ran it a few years ago. If you are one such, is this because: (a) "I forgot I'd played in it, oh blimey in that case I'd better say just for Bass5 then"? (b) "I forgot I'd played in it, oh well in that case I see no harm in playing it again as I've clearly also forgotten the notable secrets etc"? (c) "I remembered that I'd played in it, but I also know that I've forgotten the notable secrets etc"? (d) "Frankly I had no real clue what was going on in other parts of the game, so as long as I don't get the same character I'm happy"? (e) "I've already told you my reasons, why are you wasting my time with this? But just as a reminder it was because..." We've had to make a change to one of the games we're running. We're still doing the new Bassethwaite 5 game in the evening, but in the afternoon, we didn't have enough people to do Veni, Vidi, Bassethwaite, so instead we're going to rerun Cereal Killers -- which we haven't run since 1998, so hopefully no-one remembers much about the details of that (we certainly didn't). http://www.epic-experience.org.uk/cereal.html has some info about it -- it's set at a small breakfast-cereal company in Bassethwaite, with characters being workers, owners and visitors. Expect all the usual Epic Experience shenanigans, if you haven't played it before. At the moment, of the above list, we have Lucya and JD down just for the evening game, but everyone else potentially for both games. Can you please mail us if you _don't_ want to play Cereal Killers? We'll do another post here with more admin details shortly. Not ideal timing for the break from the food point of view, so we're planning on working an excuse for eating in-game into B5:AtF. Apparently the pub are fine for people to bring in their own food.
