Hi all,

We're debating at the moment whether to go to GenCon UK this year (30 
Aug - 2 Sept):

Basically it's all been organized a bit at the last minute, and we're 
not confident that we would actually get any players there. On the 
other hand, we've run games at every GenCon UK for donks, so it would 
be a shame to miss it, particularly if us being there might encourage 
people to book up. So this is a wee straw poll of you lot, just to 
get a vague idea of what the interest level is. Could you please mail 
us to tell us:

(a) I'm definitely not going to GenCon;
(b) I definitely am going to GenCon;
(c) I'm undecided;
(d) I'm undecided, but if Epic Experience games are running, that 
makes it more likely I'll go.

(By the way, we are going to Consequences in November, so we will be 
running games this year, it's just a question of whether we go to 
GenCon as well.)

Hi all,

Thanks for your responses about GenCon and the going thereto.

Sad to say, it looks like there probably isn't going to be enough 
people there to allow us to run. We've supported GenCon in the UK 
since the very first one, and probably most of you first played our 
games at a GenCon -- so we are very disappointed about this.

But let's hope that the con continues and picks back up again -- even 
in the last few years, those times when they've started organizing it 
and publicizing it in advance have done a lot better than the times 
when, like this year, everything seems to have been left to the last minute.

Anyway, those of you who go along, hope you have a great time -- Mel 
and Graham will probably be attending the con anyway. Other people, 
hope to see you at Consequences in November, or else at some future 
con or other game!
