This sounds very much like the "Romans Go Home" bit from Monty Python's Life of Brian.

His translation was:
"A sleeping infant never to move."
He wondered if you meant:
"Infans dormiens nunquam movet."
"Infans dormiens numquam movet." (pre-Augustan)
"A sleeping infant never moves."
