There are a lot, most of them are from public domain works because
that's the easiest to find when composing spam - just copy and paste.
I find my spam has exploded lately as well... thank the advances in
spam filters for making it necessary to use such tricks that still
don't bypass most of the advanced filters...

I think a lot comes from random sites, news stories, etc. Anything
that can be copied and pasted (you expect spammers to *work*?) and
which may have a hope of bypassing some filters. I've seen CNN, BBC,
shakespeare, and random news articles. I don't know why I see them,
since they get deleted signt unseen, but I sometimes get a word or
two...
