Hearfelt thanks to all of you who responded both on and off-list to my
request for help on the subject of Audiobooks - rather than clog up the list
with lots of individual messages, I'd like to thank you all at one time.
You've given me some great new places to obtain audiobooks, and I've also
made some progress in working out how to record them myself. I'm
particularly inspired by the idea of sharing the audiobooks with the CNIB -
I'd love to contribute to their efforts. Lots of lovely new ideas to
explore.

I suspect that the new resources will help us locate some of what Rachael
wants, but I suspect that some will be pretty difficult to find, and in fact
I'm rather looking forward to reading one or two books for her. This
cropped up when she saw my latest package from Amazon - I'd ordered the new
translation of Kristin Lavransdatter which I mentioned a while ago, and she
really wanted to read it herself. She's also keen to read 'How Green Was my
Valley', and I doubt I'm going to find that too easily. Given that both of
those are books I'd really like to re-read, I may as well record them as I
read them!

This list really is the most awesome resource - thankyou all.

Carol
