Good question. Especially since giving one's weight in Stones seems to
be very popular on, say, Yahoo! Answers. I guess you get to say the
least number, like, 10 stone, instead of 70+ kg... Btw, considering
the kinds of questions asked, I think people who regularly ask there
are a strange lot. It's quite often that I burst in laughing at the
gist of a question.
Myself, I give my info in metrics... I didn't learn Imperial until I
got to Winnetou, I think. Well, maybe a bit in The Three Musketeers,
but I don't recall weight units there... By that time, I think second
grade or so, the metric system was pretty-well settled.
