This is the still norm in England (x stone,
y pound, z ounces).

It is how most bathroom scales are calibrated
(although they only do the stones and pounds
and don't bother with the ounces).

Some have moved over to kg (and the dual standard
ones mostly do kg and stones and pounds, not kg
and pounds).
