Makes me ouch. Very hard.
Haven't hit that age yet; also haven't hit a situation, I think, which
could have had me dead a century ago... I would probably have lost my
father already, though; and, possibly my mother (she had a severe
crisis of gynecologic nature like 17 years ago... don't know when the
medicines who got her back on track were invented.
Pollution and global warming and overpopulation notwithstanding, I am
happy I live now, and not earlier. Besides the risk of having been
orphaned at eight (!) just the thought of feeling clean, i.e.,
personal hygiene, makes me brighten happily... (sorry, have detected a
couple of bugs I would have preferred not to, since yesterday, it
makes me appreciate things connected with hygiene and insecticides
quite a bit better).
