Nope. The current official name for those birds, according to 
the American Ornithologists Union and the American Birding 
Association is "Rock Pigeon". (They AOU changes official bird 
names every so often, to better reflect current scientific 
knowledge or in an attempt to make the official names in various 
countries match.)
