I'm not disagreeing with anyone here - just asking a question:

Is there a difference between there being romance as PART of an SpecFic
novel and it being labelled a SpecFic-Romance? Do there need to be a certain
number of genre tropes for the latter designation.

Or could we class all novels as "Romance" that have a love interest as part
of the plot/setting?
