These days  Hamilton does not write romance. She writes porn. There's a 
major difference: romance has a plot. Her latest nearly got this year's 
Green Slime Award at Bubonicon, but lost to a book touted as a YA 
coming-of-age story that was a catalog of horrors to make Andrew Vachhs sick 
all done in a romance-novel voice. (Speaking of squick!) Only that could 
have saved her the slime.
