competing for entry-level jobs with the up-and-coming generation, who might
be willing to work for less, having both less experince and less family to
support. or with people who have more recently been downsized, and so have
more recent experince.
i had intended to 'stay at home' for a few years, but its been a decade and
there is no way i can go back to computer programming as 'experienced', if i
can go back at all.
