My Monday night roleplaying game recently ended, which means (since it was
in character) I have lost three hours of handwork per week,
I prefer to listen to things while I do handwork, although I also have a
line in telling stories in my head if there's nothing else to keep my brain
occupied while my hands are.
If I'm prepared to work very very slowly, I do what I'm currently doing, and
check emails or something while I do hand work. I have to put it down to
reply, of course... Currently, I'm on my lunch break, and doing some of the
hardanger on a wedding sampler for my sister. She's getting married in
November, and September is an insane month for me, so I want it done asap.
Also, it's nearly finished, and when I get to the nearly finished state with
handwork, I get bored and want it done NOW so I can start (or go back to)
the next thing.

I have CDO. It's like Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, only in alphabetical
order as it should be.
To err is human. To really screw things up requires a computer.
Prayer, he suspected as he hoisted himself up and turned for the door, was
putting one foot in front of the other. Moving all the same.
