I believe it was--I had a wonderful time in the snow.  I lived near  Akron, 
and the semi that was buried was near there on the road to  Mansfield, Ohio, 
IIRC--the driver was trapped in it for two or three days,  when his brother 
found him and dug him out.  He wasn't injured in any way,  but it must have been 
pretty grim.  That storm was what encouraged me to  keep a "survival kit" in my 
car since then--at least a blanket, various food  items, a few bottles of 
water, a couple of candles, and other small but useful  items, also books (of 
course).
