I'd second Anmar's comment... get a gas model.

Mine has a temperature limiter which is good if you have kids (or even
if you don't). You can set it to a level that won't burn them to death
if they accidentally turn off the cold or something. The level can be set
to one of several values of your choice.

I think mine is a Rinnai (I'd have to check) but I've been very happy
with it.
