[LMB] Ice Storm and Tixie News

Just a quick note for anyone who might have been worried: the ice storm that
hit Southern Illinois Thursday night knocked out power at my house, and it's
still not back on. However, the dogs and I are OK; I've got plenty of firewood
and the neighborhood stores are open.

Unfortunately, I chose this month to take the Tixie duties. I'm afraid that
the first few birthday announcements will be delayed at least another day or
two. (However, anyone who wants to wish Lorraine Fletez-Brant a one-day-
delayed birthday - her birthday was the 3rd - should probably take the
opportunity now.)
