	While Herself didn't touch on this, think about it for a moment: 
Simon's chip almost undoubtedly could do an IPod's work, as a 
sub-feature.  Certainly Simon could recall any song he'd ever heard just 
by thinking of it.
	Now consider the implications during "Memory" -- if the degrading chip 
had any tendency to follow particularly strong memory threads, and had 
perfect recall of every "stuck in your head" fad song for the past 30+ 
years... oh dear me.  And Simon wasn't begging everyone to kill him?  My 
estimation of his fortitude just went up quite a bit.  :)
