Well, we could also try adding in the other holidays celebrated in the world
at this time. We don't celebrate three of your five in New Zealand (1) but
add Boxing Day (Dec. 26), various regional anniversay days throughout
December/January (2) and Waitangi day on Febuary 6.

A brief glance at my calender for December also yields Hanukkah (Dec. 15),
The Emperor's Birthday (Dec. 23) and Kwanzaa (Dec. 26).

Five holidays? I think you were underestimating there.

1. Thanksgiving, Martin Luther King Day and President's Day
2. Wellington's, for those of you interested is the third weekend in January
and a local RPG convention called Kapcon is always on then
