Yes. That's why the series is constantly slashed.
There are a lot of adventure series that women in large groups don't even bother
to read, let alone write slash about. But Aubrey and Maturin have loads of
fangirl appeal, and you don't even have to set your slash goggles on high to see
the possibilities between them.
