I know nothing about any contest, but Pottersues has been around
for years and its primary purpose is making fun of Sues.

If there's slash on the comm it's a recent development.

I don't read comms like Pottersues, Fandom Wank and other comms
that primarily exist to humiliate and make fun of other people.
