I never said I didn't like you either.

I disliked what you said and found it offensive, but that's not
the same thing as disliking you personally; if that distinction
was not clear, I will apologise for that, though I am not the
least bit sorry for having stated my honest opinions about such
statements.

I don't care whether you like slash or not.  I have a fair number
of friends who don't especially care for it--I assume it's just
not to their taste.  I'm only bothered by people disliking what I
dislike when comments are made that imply there's a moral failing
at the root of our difference in taste.
