that's pretty much what  i thought.  well, i don't have much access to the 
anime, nor a reliable guide to what is worth watching,  and the only place 
to get manga is teh library*.  and of hte comics they have there - a lot 
more than i thought, since i discovered it last summer!  - but the only 
series i read more than one of, is 'basara'.

the others seemed to have either no plot at all, or school-girls in such 
short skirts that i spent most of hte comic wondering if they ever sat down 
without flashing the room.  or both irritants at once.
