I feel compelled to point out that nothing on that website should
be believed without outside verification. EVER.
And I pretty much mean the whole site. Bad Penny is a spinoff of
Fandom Wank.
Cassie was doing something that a lot of HP authors at the
time were doing; she did it badly and she became famous, but she
was hardly the only one and possibly not the worst offender
either. That website, however, has thereupon a large and
vituperous collection of grudgewankers who have severe grudges
against Heidi (who ran the Nimbus 2003 convention and runs
Fiction Alley), Cassie, and a number of other people.
They've slandered me on several occasions and put about
information that I know to be untrue about me; I therefore see no
reason to believe anything they say about anyone else. They were
right about Ms Scribe, but the truth about that turned up
elsewhere.
~malfoy, who, according to that bunch, was one of the leading
lights of H/Hr, when in fact I have never even written that
pairing...
