an important event has been completely lost in the various kerfluffles on
list.


welcome to the new century.  the space shuttle 'discovery' has taken several 
astronauts to the moon!  and nothing blew up!  no one died!    when is the 
last time a real, live person has been -----out there-----?


hopefully, this is the start of trend... its hard to have a space race with
no one to race against, but a space age doesn't imply competition, just a
goal.

here's to a space age!
