hear, hear!
i often skip topics i'm not interested in, but i find its better if i read 
every tenth message or something, bec one subject heading will mutate to 
three related threads, which in turn mutate to three un-related threads, 
which... well, -eventually- some of them die :)

if people would be more careful about    changing   subject headings,  pizza 
calls on one thread would not capsize fifteen topics.  also list skimmers, 
who comment moderately often, would likely skip less stuff.

ziviya, planning to post another chapter of TSK real soon now.  although not 
planning to catch up to victoria anymore, she goes to fast for me
