The idea of an expiry period for a Pizza call (a fortnight or a month) was
floated in the 2003 discussion of the rule but at the time it was felt
that this could be gamed. At the moment the unwritten rule seems to be
that a subject may be reintroduced when list members will not object. How
this is to be achieved (effluxion of time, agreement before
reintroduction, etc.) is left open.
