Well, that was something that did spring to mind, but the guys who are
fans that I know aren't consciously misogynistic, even if they're
certainly not the kind of men I'd call good friends because of their,
*ahem*, "old-fashioned" ideas about women in general.

I think their misanthropy in general stood out for me more, although that
might be because I'm not trying to deal with them on a more intimate
basis.
