I did not mean "plain idiotic behaviour". I meant illogical behaviour
that aroze from their personalities.

Oh. Then part of the misunderstanding is on my end. People acting out of
their personality foibles is an example of good writing, not bad. I was
thinking more of cases where a character is presented as bright or heroic
or what have you and then doesn't live up to it because that would wreck
the writer's plot.
