ingrey describes his vision to prince biast. he says he didn't see the god
as he truly is, just a shadow of himself. and ingrey couln't see the whole
thing without shattering.

did he choose that word due to oswin's dream in the last chapter?

removing the threat stand by strand instead of with one dramatic scene -
that's not the thought of your average bully boy. ingrey is pretty smart,
besides being so curious. does he realize that? where does he describe
himself as hetwar's bully, and deliverer-of-messages that go clink, or
bleed?

ingrey provides biast a list of good advisors in the capital. wouln't the
prince know this already? although not: 'for practical theology, see lewko'
biast is nervous about 'practical' theology. the gods should keep out of
his business, eh?

' was this the print of horseriver's hoof? ' what a non-charming phrase.
ick. but more eye-catching that fingerprint, to be sure.

ingrey finds out that his servant tesko has been cheating the kitchen staff
at dice, and 'convinces' him to return the money. while tesko is cowed from
this, ingrey has him help with his bandages.
isn't tesko alreay scared of ingrey?
