that was a good line, yes.  and don't forget the multi-generation 
peabody-emerson archeological family.  there was a non-standard up-bringing!

i'm fairly sure that the next generation of vorkosigans (et al) will follow 
their paretns into trouble, if they haven't dragged them there in teh first 
place :)

trying to remember that 'juggling 4 kids and housework' doesn't mean
'send the kids headfirst through the ceiling, so you have enough time to 
tidy up before they get loose again'
