In response to my question about a general get-together, the inimitable Ma 
Foxti replies:

I was particularly hoping you'd reply.  Since you're actually going & are 
relatively local, I was hoping you'd have more information, at least about 
being able to book meeting rooms [as every other con has let the Special 
Interest Groups do].  If nothing else, we can always plan to get together 
Saturday afternoon & do something dinnerish early so desperate souls can 
get to the Masquerade hours early & reserve their seats.  [Not me, but 
there're always some.]

For info about Ginnilee, contact Deb Cebulski at debsabriel at earthlink.net ; 
iirc, they get together regularly.

Do you know whether the masquerade & Hugos will be on closed-circuit tv to 
the con hotel rooms?  We'll be in the Hilton, as it's the filk hotel.

More importantly, and definitely in your area of expertise, do you know of 
close, cheap, and good vittles?  Is there anything like a foodcourt?  Those 
are super for large groups of listies to eat what they want & all be 
convivial together.
