Depends on what he was closest to when the stroke occurred and 
if they decided to transfer him to another hospital after 
original assessment.  Duke is good, but so is NC Memorial which 
serves as the primary teaching hospital for the medical school 
at University of North Carolina--Chapel Hill.  The Research 
Triangle area (Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Durham, Cary, Apex, 
Research Triangle Park, etc.) is large and densely populated and 
has a number of extremely good hospitals besides Duke and NC 
Memorial that are used as teaching hospitals for the nursing and 
allied-health training programs for the other schools in the 
area.  I think a couple of the hospitals still have their own 
nursing schools, too.
