Hi everyone!

Thanks so much for your birthday wishes.  I still can't believe I'm 37 now - it doesn't seem that long ago when I held the baby Niki in my arms.  Now she's 25 and has 2 kids of her own!  I graduated from BC on May 22 and have been keeping up with the list.  Unfortunately I'm low person on the totem pole when it comes to vacation requests and someone booked their vacation for the 30th and 3rd already, so I couldn't get time off of work to go to Philadelphia :(  I've been talking with Niki a lot and she understands why I can't be there.  My mother, brother, and my other sister will be there for her.  I put in a request for days off in August and it should be approved (no one else has requested those days).  We're going to make a day trip to the Jersey Shore and go to a Phillies game.  I've heard such wonderful things about the new field, and can't wait to see it myself.

Scott seems to be doing well at the moment.  He loves gardening and one of his tomato plants is halfway up the garage wall!  It's going to be a great year for tomatoes, but his pepper plants are failing to thrive (pepper plants don't do well in the massive rains the Northeast has been seeing this year.
