The amazing news is that there's a Cyteen 2!

Only, I may have misled the list.  I don't think there's actually a comments 
facility.  You could write to her though.  I wrote to Robin McKinley.  She 
wrote back!  (I nearly had a heart attack and died, but would like to take 
the opportunity to let everyone know the good news that she is hoping to 
write more in the Sunshine universe one day.  The down side to that is that 
she won't/can't answer all our burning questions...)
