Commiserations, I hope it sorts itself out.

While I sometimes feel guilty about ordering from Amazon, but often there
is *no alternative*, I wish they'd open up an Asia/Pacific branch. Given
the number of printers who are based in places like Singapore (who print a
lot of the UK/Oz/NZ editions), they could save some money on shipping, you
would think. It would also save ME money, since of my last $US85 purchase
from Amazon, $US35 of that was bloody postage. For four books. Paperback.
