Are you aware of the new "chat" system, which I managed to connect to with GAIM?

Anybody with whom you are a "mutual friend" gets added to your Buddy
List automagically, and there's a "goat-bot" named Frank permanently
on-line to allow you to post to your journal from chat:

I haven't managed to connect with anyone yet, many of my mutuals
seeming to be important-and-busy writers (so why the heck did they
friend **me**?!?! ;-) in a varity of incompatible time-zones. However,
spending as much time in GAIM as I do, this could potentially be a way
for me to actually do something with my LJ ;-)
